Genel Bakış
AYT Proje tarafından tasarlanan Samsun Çarşamba Kano Tesisleri, kano sporuna adanmış kapsamlı bir merkez oluşturma hedefiyle geliştirilmiş, Türkiye'de bir ilk niteliği taşıyan özel bir projedir. İmar planı bulunmayan özel statülü bir alanda hayata geçirilen bu proje, sadece bir kayıkhane ve saha düzenlemesini değil, aynı zamanda Türkiye'de kano yarışmaları için özel olarak tasarlanmış ilk gözlem kulesini de içermektedir. Bu proje, hem bir master plan çalışması hem de iki ana bina (kayıkhane ve gözlem kulesi) ile çevre düzenlemesini kapsayan bütüncül bir yaklaşımdır.
Tasarım Felsefesi ve Mimari Yaklaşım
Projenin temel felsefesi, kano sporunun gerektirdiği özel fonksiyonel ihtiyaçları karşılarken, bulunduğu doğal çevreyle uyumlu, estetik ve ikonik bir tesis yaratmaktır.
Öncü ve İhtiyaç Odaklı: Türkiye'de kano sporu için özel olarak tasarlanmış kapsamlı bir tesisin eksikliğinden yola çıkan proje, bu alanda bir ilki gerçekleştirmeyi hedefler. Hem sporcuların antrenman ve barınma ihtiyaçları hem de yarışmaların takibi ve organizasyonu için gerekli tüm mekanlar düşünülmüştür.
Doğayla Entegrasyon: İmar planı olmayan bir alanda çalışmak, doğayla daha hassas bir ilişki kurma fırsatı sunmuştur. Master plan ve bina tasarımları, mevcut doğal dokuyu koruyacak ve onunla bütünleşecek şekilde geliştirilmiştir.
Master Plan Yaklaşımı: Proje, sadece binaları değil, tüm alanı kapsayan bir master plan çalışmasıdır. Alan içerisindeki dolaşım, spor alanlarının konumu, izleyici bölgeleri ve peyzaj düzenlemeleri, sporun akışına ve çevrenin karakterine uygun olarak planlanmıştır.
Ana Bileşenler ve Fonksiyonlar
Tesis, kano sporuna hizmet eden üç ana bileşenden oluşur:
Kayıkhane: Kano ve ekipmanlarının güvenli bir şekilde depolanması, bakımı ve sporcuların hazırlık yapabilmesi için tasarlanmış modern ve fonksiyonel bir yapıdır. Soyunma odaları, duşlar ve diğer destek birimlerini içerir.
Gözlem Kulesi: Türkiye'de kano yarışmaları için özel olarak tasarlanmış ilk yapı olan bu kule, yarışmaların hakemler, yetkililer ve potansiyel olarak yayıncılar tarafından en iyi şekilde izlenebilmesi için stratejik bir noktada konumlandırılmıştır. Aynı zamanda tesisin mimari kimliğine katkıda bulunan ikonik bir öğedir.
Saha ve Çevre Düzenlemesi: Kano sporunun yapılacağı su alanı ile kara alanı arasındaki ilişkiyi düzenleyen, antrenman ve yarışma parkurlarını tanımlayan, izleyici alanları, yürüyüş yolları ve peyzaj elemanlarını içeren kapsamlı bir çevre düzenlemesidir.
Ulusal Spor ve Mimariye Katkı
Samsun Çarşamba Kano Tesisleri, tamamlandığında Türkiye'de kano sporunun gelişimi için kritik bir altyapı ve modern bir merkez olacaktır. Ulusal ve uluslararası yarışmalara ev sahipliği yapma potansiyeli taşıyan tesis, aynı zamanda türünün ilk örneği olan gözlem kulesi ve bütüncül master plan yaklaşımıyla Türkiye spor mimarisine yenilikçi bir katkı sunmaktadır. Bu proje, AYT Proje'nin özel spor dallarına yönelik özgün tesisler tasarlama ve uygulama konusundaki yetkinliğini göstermektedir.

Overview
Designed by AYT Proje, the Samsun Çarşamba Canoe Facilities is a special project, a first of its kind in Turkey, developed with the goal of creating a comprehensive center dedicated to the sport of canoeing. Implemented in a special status area without a formal zoning plan, this project includes not only a boathouse and site arrangement but also the first observation tower specifically designed for canoe races in Turkey. This endeavor represents a holistic approach encompassing a master plan study, two main buildings (boathouse and observation tower), and landscape design.
Design Philosophy and Architectural Approach
The core philosophy of the project is to create an aesthetic and iconic facility that is harmonious with its natural surroundings while meeting the specific functional needs required by the sport of canoeing.
Pioneering and Needs-Oriented: Stemming from the lack of a comprehensive facility specifically designed for canoeing in Turkey, the project aims to achieve a first in this field. All necessary spaces for athletes' training and accommodation needs, as well as for monitoring and organizing competitions, have been considered.
Integration with Nature: Working in an area without a zoning plan provided an opportunity to establish a more sensitive relationship with nature. The master plan and building designs were developed to preserve and integrate with the existing natural fabric.
Master Plan Approach: The project is not just about buildings but a master plan study covering the entire area. Circulation within the site, the location of sports areas, spectator zones, and landscape arrangements are planned according to the flow of the sport and the character of the environment.
Main Components and Functions
The facility consists of three main components serving the sport of canoeing:
Boathouse: A modern and functional structure designed for the safe storage and maintenance of canoes and equipment, and for athletes' preparation. It includes changing rooms, showers, and other support units.
Observation Tower: As the first structure specifically designed for canoe races in Turkey, this tower is strategically positioned to allow referees, officials, and potentially broadcasters to monitor competitions optimally. It is also an iconic element contributing to the architectural identity of the facility.
Site and Environmental Arrangement: A comprehensive landscape design that organizes the relationship between the water area used for canoeing and the land area, defines training and race courses, and includes spectator areas, walkways, and landscape elements.
Contribution to National Sports and Architecture
Upon completion, the Samsun Çarşamba Canoe Facilities will provide critical infrastructure and a modern center for the development of canoeing in Turkey. With the potential to host national and international competitions, the facility also offers an innovative contribution to Turkish sports architecture with its first-of-its-kind observation tower and holistic master plan approach. This project demonstrates AYT Proje's capability in designing and implementing unique facilities for specialized sports disciplines.
